Unified Fire Authority

Unified Fire Authority is Utah’s largest fire agency, serving over 375,000 residents in the cities of Alta, Cottonwood Heights, Draper, Herriman, Holladay, Riverton, Taylorsville and the unincorporated areas of Salt Lake County.

We provide fire, emergency medical and other emergency services to our residents and visitors from 20 fire stations and 3 other facilities including the Salt Lake County Emergency Operations Center.

The UFA is also a co-sponsor of Utah Task Force 1, one of 28 FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Teams.

Other services provided include a Bomb Squad, a Wildland Fire Division, Heavy Rescue and Hazardous Materials response.
