Graphics/Adding Photos to Forum Posts Using UtahRadio.org

These are instructions for including images hosted on the wiki on the RadioReference forums:

  1. Upload the image using the "upload file" link on the left of the wiki.
  2. You will want to use the actual URL of the image. By default mediawiki resizes image uploads to match a size format that should be compatible with this forum.
  3. After you upload you'll be looking at the image information screen for the image you just uploaded. You probably want to use the resized image if you're uploading full size pictures. If not, you can use the full address you see when you click on the picture.
  4. In order to find the address of the resized image, there are various methods depending on your browser. In IE, right click on the image and choose "properties." Then copy the address from there.
  5. Finally, included it in your post (see the below example).

Advanced users - there is a way to resize images using the mediawiki software if you'd like to post a smaller image than what is created by default. Feel free to PM me if you'd like to know more.
